A nonet for the contest

A True Prince

by June Sargent


With crown of ruby feathers he stands,

a prince surveying his kingdom.

While less than hardy souls flee

the frigid winds and snow,

he chooses to stay ~

with fortitude

and gusto.

Now that's

cool!
