raging south wind blows embers through forest and towns — wise owl flies northbound

Los Angeles, southern California is on fire. I live in a town in Los Angeles called Pasadena where the Eaton Fire burned 10,600 acres. Houses are burning 5 mile away from our home. The gust winds are 55 a mile and that affects the fire. We are safe right now and ready to leave if we get an order to evacuate. 30 miles away from us, in Palisades fire 16,000 acres are burned. We had a huge loss of housed, schools, and businesses. I don't know what will happen, it's a volatile situation. Please pray for us.

HOW TO WRITE A RENGA POEM:
It's very important to LINK your Renga stanza to the previous stanza keeping the same theme and season of the year.
First copy and paste this link to your browser to check the Renga Book. Your chapter will follow the last chapter: fanstory.com/chapterdetails.jsp?id=42337
FIRST POET - starts with a three-line haiku 5/7/5 that sets the theme and season of the year.
THE SECOND POET writes a 7/7 stanza that links to the previous 5/7/5 chapter with the same theme and season of the year.
This pattern (5/7/5 stanza followed by a 7/7 stanza) continues on and on. Some renga books can be 100 stanzas or more.
