An Allegory of Ashes

A spark announces its genesis amongst the ashes.

Leaving the remains of its past, it ventures forward;

Leaning into the hands of fate to determine its destiny.

Eager to find its place in the world, the spark  

Gleefully leaves its mark on every branch and leaf it encounters. 

Onward it journeys, unaware of the trail of destruction it has made its own.

Realizing the ashes were a breeding ground for brokenness, the spark longs to bring restoration.

Yearning for what can never be; to be what it can never become.
