title of this poem. I have never seen an owl but certainly would like too.

Thank you for the wonderful review. I have seen them in the distance, but not up and close and personal. I had one fly over my head one day at dawn and it scared the everliving crap out of me. All I heard was the swoosh of his wings as he flew away.

Ciao, I enjoyed reading your poem on the owl.
The owl is the animal that represents our town.
I find them somewhat creepy but I can not deny that they have an important role in many ecosystems
They are very good at hiding in plain sight, they blend in perfectly with tree trunks.

I think your nonet is spot on. The syllable count looks very good to me. This poetic form is harder to write than it looks.
I guess the owls are the reason why rabbits are so prolific. Just sayin. (Smile)
