This poem is part of a series, beginning with the mild, there is 5 of them. Now, it starts with your creation up to where they're running from a forest fire. I like the idea of man and nature, or rather the creatorial connection between us, I guess the difference is being warm blooded or cold, but trees are a giver of life, and we are very dependent on the health of trees, beautifully written Lea, blessings Roy

Introducing other hybrids to the situation. Perhaps one that uh, they would find conflict with. We shall see, thank you again. What a wonderful verse for this Rhyming Poem contest. You did a really good job in saying a lot with a handful of words. The artwork is very dramatic and helps to set up the heat and burning feeling we get as we read. Well done and good luck.

This poem tells a very suspenseful story that draws the reader's interest and keeps them hooked. I was happy with the ending, but sad that the story wasn't longer. Maybe at some point you could lengthen this into a longer piece. If you do, please let me know.

Thank you, that's a good suggestion. Actually, I may just do that. I was thinking about having all these poems is part of a story. The one they were created up until the time they had the force on fire. It will continue. I think I will bring in some new characters too. Maybe they have a conflict or something. We'll see. I actually use multiple art programs. I create the light, the colors the general outline and then start to fill it in based on an idea that I have to match the poem and then it run through multiple filters, take away blur and add clarity. Sometimes I might change the shading or the filter.But I like to make them, they're pretty cool. Thank you so much for asking. I appreciate your time as always. I want to look at that doggy on there.He looks so cool too! Thank you again. I hope your Christmas was amazing. I hope your new year's even better!

At least they have the ability to find a pond and jump in to extinguish the flames, unlike trees who are rooted to the ground and must accept what comes their way. And I like to make them according to the idea of the poem that I have in my head, that perpetuates it on even a little bit more.
