This triolet, Reality Fades, has the proper formatting and lowers the readers into the subfoliage to where life is slowed to what is absolutely necessary.

You have a delicious use of words that takes the reader to another place. I love the repeating line " slow droning bees sing serenades." It shows nature in action and even bees can make us feel good. Your poetic form is smooth and has an almost musical feel to it.

What a clever triolet, could described as written almost in monorhyme, but their is a difference, making it quite different with this S addition, well done Melissa, good job, blessings Roy

Thank you Roy... yes, I used the 's' intentionally to match the requirements of the poem, but also grabbed that mono rhyme feel as well. Thanks for catching that :). Hugs, sweet Roy.

So calming, Melissa. Just add a little rippling creek or waterfall and I would be so content to stay. The picture was beautiful but the words added the feeling. Very well done.

Thank you Carol... I will consider the creeks and waterfalls in upcoming verses. They sound charming. :)

This was soothing and lovely, with a meter that felt as if I were on a pool raft, indulging in the swells if the most gentle of currents. Just beautiful, Melissa, and topped off with that gorgeous picture!! Xo

Thank You Rachelle. I had not written a Triolet in a long time and thought it was time to take one out and dust it off :). So appreciate you!

That's pretty good, Melissa. I have never tried my hand at that exotic stuff. Maybe someday. That's a nice picture to go along with your poem.

A charming poem Melissa full of summer fun when we don't mind being in the shade as the sun is hot and we need to be cooled down. I am loving those bee serenades here, love Dolly x

Hi Dolly. Thank you. From your comment, it seems like someone else is talking about bees? Who is it and I will pop over to read their poem. Thanks again.

I meant the one's in your poem Melissa, the bees have long gone in my town x x x

I see. Well we have 4 inches of snow on the ground, so bees are scarce here too. LOL. Hugs!

Beautiful Triolet. I love your repetitive lines. The entire poem gives off a peacefulness and the feeling of a late summer afternoon working its way to twilight. Nice to think about on this chilly winter morning. Thanks for sharing.

I'm stingy when it comes to giving bonus stars, but once again you hit the ball out of the park. Well done. I enjoyed this immensely, and it may even stir me to try writing a triolet.

Oh Tom, you have made my day with your wonderful words and encouragement. I had fun working within the confines of the Triolet form, but I read Shelley and Thomas Hardy's triolets and became inspired :) thank you so much!!

I'd love to escape to this magical place where reality fades amidst the soft and comforting sounds of nature. A beautiful Triolet with perfect rhythm and rhyme. Great artwork as well!
