I don't know how you write a story based on this time period. You must have a passion for that era. Well done again. Nice dialogue. This read really fast. Only one note to consider:
Florentina looked at him very seriously and said, -- Might read better without 'very'. 'Very' is actually a weak word, Your call.

Love the implications that what we do not understand does not mean it is wrong. We judge things like that on a daily basis. A very intolerant world we live in and yet we are too apathetic and accepting on many things we should not tolerate. It was an interesting event with Julia and Florentina helping her to understand the wolves' meaning and appearance. Nice work, mikey

sometimes when people where different people.---"where" should be "were"

WOnderful scene of Julia helping Florrie deal with the wolf vision in a positive way! Very clever and effective. Julia (you) seems very bright. :)

Although Valerius understands, it doesn't mean the church people do. They have their mind set on demons, and nothing will change their minds. This was a very interesting chapter. Well done.

This is one of the better chapters, Mikey. I think it is the best you have written to date. Of course, don't you know I'd already squandered all my 6s, and this truly is worthy.
Looking beyond the wolves and getting the child to see her father... that was brilliant.
Great work, Mikey.

Thank you so much. I felt pretty good about this one myself. I so pleased you liked it. I even had less "that's" too correct before posting! I'll take lavish praise over a six anytime. :) mikey
