He disappeared to strike again... :) :) LOL!! Okay, Ron, this is quite entertaining, sir! :) Are you stupid, I am cupid.... it could become immortal like 'this is an ex-parrot' or 'Holy hand grenade, Batman'.... LOL! ;) ;) Thanx so much for the big grin for the evening, sir -- you definitely put a smile for the weekend out here! ;) Yvette

Hey, Yvette, hello. Thank you for the fantastic review. I'm glad you liked this silly little piece. I was just in one of those moods. Lol. I had just as much fun creating these silly pictures to go with it. Lol. I'm glad it put a smile on your face. Have a great rest of your weekend, Y. Thank you again.

Wow! "Killer" entry in the Horror Club challenge. The flow of this story poem is excellent and keeps your attention throughout. This is a fun tale about Cupid falling over the edge and taking matters into his own hands. Yes, you need to get this into a contest if possible. Very well written and an exceptional Valentine's Day write. Loved the art especially the angry little cuss at the bottom. Well done!! Lynda

Hahaha. Yeah, he fell over the edge all right. Thank you so much for the fantastic review and the giant sixer, Lynda. I had nearly just as much fun creating these pictures as writing the silly piece. I like playing with my art program. I'm glad you liked this murderous tale, L. Thank you again. Have a great rest of your weekend.

Adorably wicked fun. No wonder it qualifies for the contest. You did a superb job with this.
A few suggestions for your consideration.
My copy editor just told me AM looks better and is perfectly acceptable in writing. I agree and I am set to publish my crime novella in two weeks. I think it would look clearer if you did the same.
Second, in the last stanza, replace the period with a comma after I am Cupid. Yours reads,
"Are you stupid? I am Cupid."
and then he disappeared.
I suggest--
"Are you stupid? I am Cupid,"
and then he disappeared.
Or, if you like the period, capitalize "And." A period demands capitalization.
I hope this is helpful. A wonderful entry for the contest Joan.
All my best,

If this were true there wouldn't be many left to read this narrative poem, the likes of which I have not come across before. I detected a touch of the Lord Macaulay. I think the metre is similar to that of the Lays of Ancient Rome and, come to think about it, this is all about the lays of Elm street and main and how they got their come-uppance.
Great horrific fun.

I tried but never got the dropdown option. I contacted Tom about it. We'll see what happens. Maybe he'll put it in the contest hopefully. Thank you for the great review and club idea, Diana. I had fun with it. Have a wonderful Valentine's.

This will undoubtedly be my favorite poem for the day. "Are you stupid? I am cupid." I like that you told a story in poetic form. I also liked the rhyme pattern. Good work.
