This is a well written poem in 7/7 format. I wish I had time to look more into the Renga book, but I have to wait until the weekend. I like the picture that shows tgat there is hope to the bare winter's branch.

Thank you for the lovely review, RJ. I hope you'll do a chapter, too. Just bring up the book and look at the latest chapter and see what inspiration you get. It should thematically follow the previous poem. Hugs!

Yes, I like the image of your words, as the plant survives the freeze and waits for the sun to give life once more, an excellent addition to Gypsy's book, very well written and presented****kahpot

Those buds can't wait to burst free can they? Let's hope it's not too soon. A wonderful visual, complemented by a fine, alliterative 7/7 verse. Hey, I recognise 'winter's sleep' but I'll forgive you:) Take care Debbie

Hi Helen,
there is a myriad of reflection and levels of deepness within this seemingly short seven-seven form.
I want to say, or is that shout out... 'bring forth the light and let my branches bloom!'
Once read, the echoes linger.
Wonderfully composed and presented.
With our thoughts we create...
inspirational change.
Kindest regards,
James.

Yes, you, who love nature and understand her languages, know exactly what the branches are feeling. Thanks so much for the lovely comments! Hugs and blessings!

That's the beauty of nature - even when everything seems dead it's just a long winter dream, and new life resurfaces, with hope, with the wrmth of spring. A pleasing addition to the book.

Yes, and it should teach us that God is still working even though we may not see the life within those dead-looking branches. Thanks so much, Wendy! Hugs!

This is nicely worded. I've got to look learn more about the Renga poems. I've seen a lot of them. This one is especially nice and I can't way until the winter sleep is over and hope burst out in sunlit dreams.

Thanks so much, Beth! I was out in the cold cutting down my giant cosmos and marigolds as they looked terrible after the overnight frost. Hugs!
