This is a great story with wonderfully written characters. Diantha had seemed so weary and bored when she was in her own world, but this new world is turning her into a very adventuresome person. How wonderful to arrive somewhere riding on the back of a Centaur.

A fascinating story, Rhonda, as you were describing the valley, it reminded me of where my ancestors came from, Emmentaler valley in Switzerland. Very exciting and descriptive.

First of all I would like to congratulate you once more on your 300 Milestone Post!!
Awesome job getting there.
And for your story, I wouldn't mind being Diantha about now. That sounds like a beautiful place, and looks heavenly. Oh, Rhonda, these two personalities match up so wonderfully and who cares about the bird and bees, LOL, they are made for each other.
This is one of the best love stories I have read in a long time. I absolutely love it.
You have the greatest imagination, my dear friend. I am having so much fun reading this and this valley, well I am picturing how adventurous it can really be.
This is a story I look forward to reading every time I see you post. So thank you for another wonderful chapter. You are brilliant, my beautiful friend.
Love and hugs, Debi

Dear Rhonda, I'm so sorry I can't give this magical story the six it so deserves, it was fabulous. I'm thinking how can I design a village like that and live there, and have Atrius there with me as well!!! LOL Graham (my hubby) can be the chef! lol. This was such a beautiful chapter, full of magical places and colours. Loved it all! Now to see what adventure Diantha will be having. Well done, my friend. Love and hugs Sandra xxx

Hi Sandra,
I'm excited to have you in Concorde Valley with the rest of us who need to pick our own spot. And now we have a chef!!!! Can't beat that.
That's okay on the six. I know I'm late posting. Everytime I'd get started, I'd change direction, lol. To be honest, I was making it too long, so tried to find a way to find a stopping point.
Big hugs,
Rhonda

How is Wayne? I meant to ask you but got so excited! Is he improving still? xxx
-
He's having ups and downs, I'm afraid. We had a really bad Monday as he battled severe pain, but he's still here, and I'm still not working. It's something. We keep praying and that's sustaining us.
-
I'm so sorry, Rhonda. Life can be nasty. I'm glad you were able to give up working to be there with him. Everyone is praying for him, and you, my friend. You need them too to keep strong. Sending love and hugs. xxxx
-
I couldn't have done it without the prayers and support, I assure you!!
-
They will keep coming. Love you lots. xxxx

Aww. Here I was all set to embark on a journey of discovery like Diantha, only to be rudely awakened to the reality of the message, "Tune in next week, same Bat time, same Bat channel for the next exciting adventure."
I know that you have to end each chapter somewhere, but that does nothing to ease my disappointment when it happens. Great job.

Aww, thank you for the six and for the comments. I plan to post the rest on Sunday, if not before. It was just too long for one post, so I decided to cut it off at a stopping point.
You encourage me, my friend,
Hugs,
Rhonda

Another fine chapter, Rhonda....and you paint quite a mental tapestry (that's my trying to impress you with my amazing writerly skills!) of the magical city. I'll bet property values there are astronomical.

I'm amazed at your verbal acuity! I'm going to have to remember the mental tapestry thing!!!
Property values would be quite high for Baby Boomers. Unfortunately, millenials on down couldn't do the no technology piece!!
Hehe, Thanks for the review!

No, it the "you kids and your new fangled gadgers, no thanks, and get off my lawn!"

A delightful read, Rhonda, that lures the reader enchantingly into your fantasy land. I can't help but think that there's a little bit of you in Diantha in her quest to exhale her tensions and find some much-needed peace (I hope that isn't being too presumptuous). Your chapter is beautifully structured to expand on this new journey ahead, particularly reinforced by her new mantra not to over-think. Atrius is already losing his strangeness to her and your excellent quote: "People have trouble believing what they don't understand, even if it is staring them them in the face" is profound and philosophical, preparing us for the adventure ahead. Well done, Rhonda, and congrats on your milestone. A virtual six from me. Warmest wishes Debbie

Hi Debbie!! Thanks for the virtual six. I know I'm late posting. Too much going on around here that stifles creativity, and I kept rewriting.
Oh, and there's a lot of me in Diantha, for sure. Minus the meeting a Centaur part, lol. I'm still waiting...
I'll make the changes, thank you so much for finding them,
Hugs,
Rhonda

I'm thinking of you a lot, Rhonda, and hoping that Wayne is rallying again. It's so stressful for you both. xos

My last six goes to you, my dear! A fantastic chapter AND a milestone! 300! Wowzers! Congratulations on both!! A milestone is to celebrated.
This chapter is so romantic and sweet! Diantha is meeting the family! Well, we know what Atrius' intentions are.
I met Jack's parents on our first date. It was brief before he carried me away in his Mustang. Somewhat similar to your story, I like to think. We had a lot to overcome as most couples do. That's why I love this book so much. It's more real than you think.
Splendid offering for the new year, Rhonda dear. I look forward to the next chapter.
Love & Blessings across the bridge.

Hi Sally,
Thanks for the six stars, especially this late in the week. It just took too long to squeeze out, lol. I'll try to have a quick turn around for the next one.
Wow, met the parents on the first date. Awesome!! My dates always had to meet my parents before they would allow me out the door. My dad would be out in the driveway working on the car. I would watch as he'd motion them over to him, lol.
Thanks for being such a careful follower and a compassionate reviewer!!
Love and hugs across the bridge,
Rhonda

I wish I had a six for you, Rhonda. I loved all the magic entwined in this chapter and the peaceful nature it seemed to spread as I read. I'm not sure that makes sense, but it was calming, and I was ready to join Diantha on her adventure.
Excellent post for your 300. Congratulations!
I hope things are going better at home. I'm glad to see you taking time for yourself and writing.
Smiles and hugs, Carol

Aww, thank you so much for the six, Carol! I was late posting, so I get it. Thanks for the congratulations on the 300. To be honest, I forgot it was coming up.
I was going for the calming, as much for myself as others. I'll hit action again soon.
Hugs,
Rhonda

Yes, it would be a real adventure for Diantha, I can imagine how challenged I would be if I had met a centaur, I think I would be in a tizzy too. How are you faring Rhonda? And how's Wayne? I hope all is well, good post, blessings Roy

Hi Roy,
Thank you so much for the review and comments. We are doing okay here. We've had a few bad days, including a rough pain night last night, but good outweigh bad, so on we go. It has taken a toll on writing time, and I've taken a leave of absence from work.
Take care,
Rhonda
