Just browsing in the past, Dawn. This is very nice sonnet that is asking for help from God. I see that you wrote this in 2008. Maybe this request got lost in the mail.

A beautiful plea turned into both a prayer and rhyme. In the free flow of the verse love radiates from the words in spirit and in truth. A wonderful message is also told BEHOLD to the listener your prayer and plea. All the best and God Bless

With the reading of the poem
Still the need to raise with care

This sonnet is very spiritual. It is a strong plea to God to make you closer to Him in all the things you do and see.

Superb prayer from a truely giving heart...GOD will answer and HE will answer with strength and veracity! You have a tender and truely loving soul...it is my pleasure to even read such a beautiful person's deep tender prayers!!! WOW!!!

This is a beautiful prayer in sonnet form, Dawn. You have done an excellent job with your interpretation of the artwork and the sentiments in the prayer. Well written with no changes to recommend. "To see thy face upon the mountain strong"- lovely line. "to lift the veil and help our people see"- love the plea and the description. Excellent job. Joyce

Hi Dawn,

I enjoyed reading your poem. It has a nice flow to it and it rhymes well. It also offers a positive message.


It seems that so many believers have gone astray, as you quote, "before thine enemy holds in his clutch thy people who are fooled by his command."

I love your ending: "In crying voice, I send this prayer to thee, to lift the veil and help thy people see."
