Another wonderful, colourful chapter to this amazing story, Yvette. I wonder what the new 'friend' will be like. The vine is certainly a beautiful thing going by your lovely description. The imagery in this part certainly gives us more to see as the story continues. It was lovely to see another chapter, my friend. Well done, can't wait to read then next part. I think I found a couple of my nits that wandered over to yours!! LOL Warm hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xx
"Groundskeeper Nicholas," Archie continued as (he) removed his hand
they may[,] be in trouble again... Does that comma need to be there?

What a great lineup you have here, a great eclectic collection of characters that will lead us on a most fascinating journey through an almost surreal vacation, of strange creatures with strange ways, and interesting insight into your creative mind. Well done Yvette,, Blessings Roy

How cool is that! I think Valentin DeVine is my favorite character so far. I see potential like Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy. But Valentin can speak with color and motion! Enjoyed this chapter!

I enjoyed reading this chapter even though I haven't read the former chapters. I am new to this site, but intend to catch myself up quickly. Can't wait to read more under your name.

So glad to have you on-board, Lynette -- this is a fun easy-to-follow story that provides a complete 'escape-from-reality' for the reader (notice it's written for the pre-teen age group)... but PLEASE just drift on back a few chapters and catch up cuz we're loaded with fun here with Nicholas and his crew!! ;) You be sure to take care out there in your corner of the universe and enjoy the weekend! ;) Yvette

Dear yvette, Is the picture of the door in the garden wall your way of showing the readers where Nicholas will experience his adventures in the next chapter?
I am new to this story, so hope that my query is not annoying.

Another introduction, Yvette? We gor Valentin a home grown vine. Is it ready to make wine and sparkle with its shine after doing the wave for the Groundkeeper Nicholas. Guess we can't expect less. You keep me at the end of my seat---almost fell off. :) This secret garden has a lot of secrets. :) I like your way of luring the reader...a little bit at a time and then reel them in! Thank you for sharing--- till next time.

Such a spectacular introduction for this young fellow invested in such an important role: "
"His na-a-ame," Archie drew the word out with emphasis while he forcefully pressed my hand over and onto the vine, "is Nicholas." Then he raised his voice to that dignified 'Sir Archibald' voice. "Groundskeeper Nicholas." Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.
