This conforms to the contest format, and it's a worthy thought for a 5-7-5. I think you could do a little more to contain the ideas within the line wrap. It is not very eloquent to end the first line on "THE" and the piece just feels like a single 17-syllable line, rather than a 5-7-5.
Solitude is found /
When I find the strength within /
to forgive myself
It's not as pithy as your version, but maybe you can find a way to make yours fit the line schematic more cohesively. Anyway, your material is good, and thanks for the read.

Cool things, Shadrach. I'm new here too. I'm only a few days old.

This haiku beautifully captures the essence of finding peace within oneself through solitude. The journey towards self-forgiveness is profound and deeply personal, and your poem eloquently conveys this sentiment in just a few words.

One of my favorite poems:
Desiderata-- by Max Ehrman, contains a line that came to mind as I read your 5-7-5.
"Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence."
When we set sway from the clamor of everyday life we are able to connect to our innermost intentions...
As we would forgive others, we must also learn to forgive ourselves!
When we do this? We are showing God's child we are understand grace!

Congrats on the poem of month. I'm always grateful for your words, they inspire thoughts of remembering all that as passed. I walk further every morning, with my lord that guides me along this path.
May we always share our love of words, our romance to speak beautifully with all that we see through the eyes that our lord as given us.
Have a blessed day my friend, knowing you walk with me today.

This is well written. The depth of this thought for me shares what it is like to find inner peace. It's a powerful reminder of the importance of healing. Very nicely done.
