What a great 5-7-5 poem. Sometimes festivities do evoke nostalgia and send us back to when the world was a simpler place. Love the picture. There's something sexy about a man wearing a kilt.

I am sure that must had been something to see! I sometimes think that I was born in the wrong age; I love reading about yesteryear. Beautiful and nostalgic. My younger son attends college at Villanova in PA.

Updates: Marilyn Hamilton slipped on the ice and is in the hospital with a broken hip. Put her on your best wishes list please.
Da Mommy (Yvonne) is back in the nursing home, and Debi P.M. is soon to be back in the hospital for her cornea replacement. Jessie James Doty is recuperating from his spinal surgery. Patcelaw is recuperating from her heart surgery. Jim Vecchio is having multiple biopsy's soon. That's all the new stuff I know. I pass this along . Our lists keep getting longer. Love to you and yours.Karen

Marilyn did not break her hip after all. But she says she will be in there 3 more days. Jesse is walking better every day. And pat is walking a lot too. :-)

Hi Jesse, thank you for your nice review. Nostalgia has 3 syllables, sheer has 1 syllable and of has 1 syllable, so that is 5. Syllables.

It all depends on how you speak the word nostalgia. When I say it, it has four syllables.
