I've been in the hospital so I'm behind on reading this but I hope to catch up soon. This is so interesting and I'd Eve is willing to help them. I hope she isn't doing the wrong thing by going to Oliver. Mary is dangerous and will kill someone easily.

So, Danielle is going to address Oliver. I did read this out of order, but it does address how they got out of the basement and why Eve is with them. A very good write.

How can she possibly think Oliver won't tell Mary how and why she escaped? Even Callum has had her work on him so much he might give everything away and Eve could be in danger.

Jacob,
Another fine chapter to your book. I am so glad that Callum and Danielle were able to free with Eve's help. Not understanding why they don't just run.
Well done my friend

I must admit I can virtually feel that refreshing cold air on her cheeks and the exhilaration of escaping. She has to confront Oliver who seems to be caught up in this as much as Danielle. It'll be interesting to read what he has to say. Nice imagery with the chest tightening. A tense chapter, well composed. Happy New Year, Jacob!

Good writing, editing and pacing. While reading this, the reader could easily picture the scene and the characters actions and reactions. You give enough detail to make the scene whole. Well done.

Hi Jacob, this is a fine chapter and so very well written. I can feel the apprehension, the fear even S the tension rises. Now, I will.be looking forward to see what happens next. Ulla:)))

Unless one actually knows that they are are adopted, or that they have notices they are 'different' to their adopted family, it would be an incredible shock, hard to manage and adjust to, you would wonderful about reality itself, beautifully written. Blessings Jacob, Roy

I guess Danielle believes it's an all or nothing sort of thing. I am guessing she's about to confront Oliver and either he helps them or Mary wins again. Regardless, she's playing Russian roulette with everyone's life at the moment. Nice way to start the New Year....fireworks..lol
