Hey Melissa!

I am so happy to be able to review your poetry! Like most people here, I have way more people's work I would like to review than I have time for!

I can tell right away that your poetry skill is ample! The triolet is one of the few poetry forms I have never tried; I am hoping to give it a shot the next time I see a contest come around. When I look at form poetry, I always look at rhythm first, because bouncy iambic rhythm is my favorite! This poem does this beautifully!
---"the rushing pace of life is stayed/frustration lulls and slowly fades" --This is my favorite section, but the entire poem is excellent.

A 'back to nature" theme is very common in poetry, and rightly so. Especially with our world spinning ever faster, the desire to slow it all down "within the cool of dappled shade" is enticing. Thank you for sharing your poetry! I look forward to reading more! (In fact, I think Ima slide over to the one you just posted next!)

I've never read a Triolet before, but I will now. This poem was enjoyable to read and the perfectly matched photo, wonderful. The movement within this poem paints a picture. I hope to try one some day. Best wishes, Alex

I enjoyed reading this poem. The picture goes well with the poem. Written well. I'm just learning about poems. I didn't realize there are so many different kinds. This is an interesting pattern

Dear Melissa,
There are not enough sixes to give! This is a beautifully written and illustrated triolet. It's simplicity and repeated lines appeal to me. I must try this.
Sublime! Sending you my best today as always.

Melissa,

This is a great poem. I don't think I have every heard of a Triolet until today. It's a very interest style. The rhyme scheme is great and I like the droning bees.

I always feel bad when I mow the grass, because the bees seem to like the dandelions.

Well done my friend.

Cecilia

Wow! Wow! Wow! Faced with your skill, I'm speechless. Seriously. You picked such a hard format. All that rhyming and repeating! I could not do it. The repeating makes it a little easier, makes for less lines to write. But then it makes it harder because they have to flow in all positions.
Remarkable job.

Great use of monorhyme, and excellent repeating lines. Your word choices are interesting. I especially like dappled shade. This presents a feeling of calm and peace. It is wonderful to find a place where the rushing pace of life is stayed. Excellent work. judi

I just love this sentence of "slow, droning bees sing serenades." The buzzing of the bees may sound annoy but if it is a serenade, it must be beautiful. I only see one rhyming among all eight lines.

Well done.

Thank you sweet Lisa! I went on Shadowpoetry.com and looked around at different poetic forms. This Triolet form caught my eye. Glad you enjoyed it, my friend. I used the same rhyme but added an 's' to the end to give it a change to meet the requirements.
