The author's words are engaging, interested and creative. Thank you for the author's notes - I liked you comment! I thought about the author's
words about the brain and thoughts. I think many of us when writing
including me have eccentric thoughts. The poem flows and connects.
The artwork is awesome and compliments this poem. Great Poem!

A great picture to accompany this delightful poem.
The poem is an easy read that also has a very good flow to it. It also has a nice pace.

And often it happens at three in the morning! To the annoyance of my husband. Why can't they be sailboats instead? A little more leisurely snd less noisy. lol I enjoyed this.

I kind of feel your frustration because I have those thoughts that run through my head all the time but the worst times that run through my head is when I lay my head on the pillow Then began counting syllables on my fingers. May you have a wonderful day and I enjoyed your poem very much.

    I've done that same thing, count syllables on fingers. What works for me lately is music in my ears:)

This poem, Thoughts are Like Cars, imagines all of the many brands coming and going with speed and sound and the wind made as they pass each other on that busy highway.

This poem has a fun metaphor. The comparison makes sense and is exciting. Each stanza makes its own point well, and connects well to the poem as a whole.
