Very good story so far...I like how you continue to break up the two main character's story lines. Maybe the brother is starting to believe some of Julia's visions now.

I apologize for taking so long to get to this one. I've been sidetracked by a few personal matters...LOL Great work with this one. I am off to read the next chapter.

Really like your not so subtle judgement on Rastavious, conversing about his bloody methods and the pause to take in the statue of Christ with a dove on his hand. Rastavius is so blind.

So there's trouble afoot. The old priest tells the young to beware of the doctor, even to recruit him to the church's way of thinking. And Julia is finally to the point where she might get into serious trouble if she can't keep her mouth shut.
Another good chapter. The wheels are turning, you are starting to build the tension for the final conflict. I'm quite interested to see who sacrifices for who this time around.

I don't trust the intentions of these church people. They use God's name, but they force their own will. Cassius still don't understand what Julia sees, and probably never will. Another great chapter.
They are wont to repair and restore. --- Is this right?

Mikey, again this reminds me a little of Taylor Caldwell's precise descriptions of a first hand witness hundreds of years before she was born. Good exchange between characters when trust is and issue. Well written. :0 GracieAnn

The young man is given to music and I am somewhat surprised to find a seriousness in him. Somehow, this sentence seems like the Bard. Is there another Mikey in there, I wonder? Lots of plotting in this episode. More deep thinking... you are showing more than telling. Developing their personalities it seems and building the foundation strong, so it will withstand time. This is in the Roman empire region, I gather, Italy. The strangers names seem to represent that. Lots of conversation, back and forth, discussing matters relating to the young prospect, who will need to be mentored to see more than one side. Bet it took time to create these scripts. I notice the language slang. Pertaining to their era. Maybe a gladiator arena is in order? The physicians can mend the gladiators after they return from the arena. Perhaps Vision or Sound can take interest in the arena dome wild animals, like the caged lions and tigers. Maybe a relationship with a Roman figurehead, like a state senator or a general of a legion. Can souls be animals? Maybe one of the other four senses can return as a lion? You got -- Vision and Sound. Maybe Feeling or Smell, worded better. Smell could be the beast that eats gladiators, he is vicious! Of course, these are wacky ideas. No harm done. Later Lion King

I suppose I'm in everything somewhere! Good ideas to ponder. A lot of that going on. It's the beginning of the Dark Ages. Not sure how big I want it to get. A lot going on as it is. Keep the ideas coming. It keeps me thinking. You'd be surprised how much of this comes from good ideas that bounce around my head. Remember, I'm a fan of wacky!! Check your mail. mikey

I think the build up of your story is good, and I can follow it better and better. And Julia turns out to speak Persian for a reason.

Michael: Your story is moving with more details and plot. I like how the clergy ponders about the future of the new doctor and how Cassius is involved in Julia's visions. He heard her speak and understand Persian. Maybe, he will stand up for her with the clergy.
