I am so, so sorry to have taken so long to get to this. I am so far behind in my reviews I honestly doubt I will ever be able to catch up.
Great chapter filled with your usual tension and fear. The group has certainly found themselves in a precarious situation and I do hope it all works out for them...but with you, I never know until what you plan actually happens. Off to read the next chapter.

Excellent chapter with so much interesting interplay and action. Your character Julia is supreme in characterisation, the calmness and belief in her convictions and blending in so well to the story. The story line is progressing well. Most enjoyable. Faye

Three!!! The site is doin' some weird stuff. Hahaha. I got two exact comments in a contest, so I assumed the vote duplicated. So, I opened my big mouth and now I'm down one vote. I wonder if the person winning had the same thing happen!!! Oh well, mine is still better. :)) Soooo glad you like Julia. She is my spokesperson. I LOVE her. I'm supposed to do away with these two so they can go on to their next lives, but I don't think I can. Hahaha. This section wasn't supposed to be a novel by itself. Oh well, it's really fun to write. Love the language style. mikey

Wow, is this number four?

I guess it's just three. I guess "two" isn't enough of a reply to register!

I was at my friend's house and not used to her computer, does that mean I gave you less than five, I apologise, I will go check and change it. I remember also that there was an internal server error notice came up and it wasn't being saved. Maybe, somehow it got altered without my noticing. Sorry! Faye

Oooo... really good. I love how they handled Cicero, telling him that Leopold is possessed by demons. He sure sounds crazy, so Cicero should believe it. :)

Always well-written with lots of twists and turns. I need to go back and catch up with the chapters I missed while I was gone. Leopold is blind?
Suggestions:
1. He didn't threatened, but he ---should be 'threaten'
2. He can chose to follow or stay.---should be 'choose'
Nice work, mikey

I love the picture. I love the story. The group has decided to confront Cicero. This may be dangerous. Leopold is still ranting. Cicero may be caught up in the fervor. The group has the advantage of knowing the area. Great work.

I loved it! The last paragraph alone got you six stars. Absolutely fantastic!
Great tension. Preparing to run in the presence of soldiers, not knowing what anyone will do, and saying the Leo is possessed. You went out of your way to show that Valerius and Julia were calm and peaceful. That gives me a huge helping of foreboding. It seems (in fiction at least) that people seem to be peaceful right before something really bad happens.

I found no fault to the chapter what-so-ever. I will continue to read on. This one seems to hold the attention of the reader with but a little intrigue. :)

Seems like the soldiers have little respect for Cicero. Maybe that might come in handy at some point. He sure is very unpredictable. Julia speaks wise words. Another great chapter.
